Christian Support at the Washington Rally
Since October the 7th, there has been a concerning rise in antisemitic incidents targeting Jews globally. To show support, many Christians have been attending rallies organized to demand the return of the hostages previously held in Gaza. During the “March for Israel” in Washington D.C, approximately 700 Christian students walked hand in hand with the Jews to show their support. These specific students came from all over the country and belong to an organization called Passages which aims to build connections between Jewish and Christian people. Passages is helping to spread awareness about antisemitism on their social media platforms. Additionally, Passages’ Christian students have been sending supportive messages to local synagogues, and have been joining prayer gatherings on college campuses. When people of different faiths stand with the Jewish community, they are sending a strong message against hate.
